Whenever I reminisce, a smile just comes to my face and I feel so good. I had such a blast and totally enjoyed the experience. The diversity, rich culture, mega gyms, massive spas, sights and sounds but most of all - the food.
Yup! Imagine moving to a place where different regions are known for having different flavours. Specifically, sweet in the south, salty in the north, hot in the east, sour in the west; bitter dispersed throughout or some version of this. Amazing street food that can be super filling - think Mongolian lamb skewers, roasted sweet potato, jiaozi and milk tea to name a few.
The next best thing to eating food is talking about it - Anon
Depending with whom I'm speaking at the time, I may admit that I didn't always look this way and share the fact that I was once a "pumped up chick" (no, I'm not talking about muscles). This totally stops people in their tracks and I don't know why.
Funny enough, I had someone laugh in my face recently when I told them this and a few days after I had a really good friend from my Shanghai days send me the following pic so I took it as a sign that I was to share it with you.

So you see, I can relate, I have been there and I know what it feels like to not be living your life in the body you desire. I refuse to live in the past - I live in the now because that's all we've got and I absolutely love the body I've managed to build
